CHRISTMAS IN PARIS Cold December temperature reaching under zero, Christmas in the air and a new year in the horizon…Paris was our destination for our honeymoon. We arrived in Paris on the night of the 28 of December 2009, with its wonderful streets sparkling with lights and its seductive charm; the city received us with open hands.
The hotel selection and location advised by Wild Discovery was the key point of the success of our “lune de miel” close to all interesting attractions and two steps away from the metro station.
The fantastic ambiance of Christmas, along with the important sites and beautiful museums gives Paris its magical and romantic power…from the artistic Louvre, to the majestic Notre Dame de Paris and the historic Chateaux de Versailles. The night tour on the “bateau mouche” offered by Wild Discovery was great. You will see all the reflection of the lit monuments on the water of the Seine River.
New year eve under the majestic lit tour Eiffel changing color at midnight with the sound of the boats and the fire work a breathtaking show cannot describe. The joy was filling Paris and our hearts. The fun part of our trip was Disneyland; we were kids again around Mickey and all Disney Characters.
It was the perfect trip and the recommendations of Wild Discovery team made all the difference.

Namasté!!! Going to Nepal was a wonderful and extraordinary experience that we would love to share with you!! What can we say about Nepal? There are so many things to do… At the end of our trip we wished we have stayed longer!! We visited beautiful temples and “stupas”, we did two days rafting under the rain and slept in a tent, we went to Chitwan and experienced the Jungle life: elephant ride in the jungle where we saw rhinos, crocodiles, dears, various birds, butterflies and so many flowers. We took a “bath” with the elephants in the river, we met the Taru People (tribe living in a small village), watched the magnificent sunset etc. In Pokhrara, we did paragliding, we visited museums, caves, had a boat trip on the lake, we went trekking for 2days and slept in a lodge in the mountain and we watched the sunrise… Then back to Kathmandu again where we celebrated the women’s festival, Nepalese traditional dinner and dance… We recommend everyone who loves nature, adventure, wilderness, nice food, strange but lovely traditions, friendly people…. to go to Nepal!! Thanks to Wild discovery for this wonderful experience!!
Wild Ambassador: Glimpse of Sri Lanka For an adventurous trip, every traveler should consider the amazing island of Sri Lanka and discover its exquisite and unique culture. The first stop being the capital, its represents contradictions with its primary buildings on one side and its developed business and corporate center on the other. We couldn’t but notice the great hospitality and welcoming people of Sri Lanka both with tourists or when dealing with each other. Our journey into the island’s diverse regions was a true adventure. From Sigiriya’s fortress and its thousand of stairs to Bentota and its lazy river, as well as the rural fishing techniques and tradition, gives you a glimpse of the island’s lifestyle. We have experienced a great deal of Adrenaline rush while riding the elephant in Sigiriya. A must do activity that turned out to be scary for some of us and exciting for others. Within these middle and southern cities lie Kandy and its tooth temple where we participated in the Buddhist practices and offerings. Cultural shows and local events are widely spread in the island, and particularly in Kandy, during their New Year celebration taking place around the month of April. The Spice Garden is one spot that everyone should pass by and discover its exotic fruits and bizarre combination of spices that, according to their own believes; can heal most of the illnesses. Our guided tour in the tea factory introduced us to the different stages of tea processing, from its plantation to the final form and shape with, of course, a complimentary cup of tea for every visitor to try its individuality and originality. After the exciting days touring Sri Lanka and its amazing cities, a two day relaxation on Sri Lanka’s south beaches was essential for us, including some extraordinary massages and spa treatments. Hotels and people in this area have overcome nature’s disasters and have picked up again to embrace tourism within its fine areas and outlets. Food might not be of a great pleasure for all tastes, unless you are able to handle spicy cuisine. A final simple advice would be for every traveler to be aware of overrated goods around the island and should be able to compare prices before setting his mind on purchasing goods and souvenirs.
Sri Lanka … A destination I will never forget …

Just a few words to say thank you for a wonderful trip. It was perfectly organized and your tour operator in Thailand runs an impeccable service. Many thanks also to our guide Grace, in Chiang Mai, for her warmth, competence and availability.
To describe Thailand is complicated, as is the country itself, but I believe nowhere else in the world do the Orient and Occident live in such contrast and yet harmony. We had an amazing time round the breathtaking temples, the street markets, the huge malls and the crowded streets of Bangkok. An unforgettable experience remains the elephant show and ride in Chiang Mai; and how can I put into words our feelings while hugging and petting the tigers? I speak for the three of us when I say that we would have happily spent the whole week there. Phuket was unbelievable; the Novotel lives up to its reputation, and we'll never forget swimming in the Indian Ocean. And if you're searching for some crazy nightlife experience, Thailand is the place to go (I'm really happy we still have some good and genuine men in Lebanon).
